When my son was sick and in the hospital and I felt so very helpless, lost, and alone, I was tempted to ask where my God was at that moment in time. After crying for hours without release from the agonizing pain of what felt like overwhelming hopelessness, I got down on my knees and humbled myself before my creator. He led me to multiple scriptures that I wrote out on index cards and hung in my room. They became my daily assurance and prayers. In His timing and after much prayer and fasting, my son was healed and came home to us. Here are two of those scriptures for those of you who need to hear this today:
"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" Exodus 23:25 and "Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you..." 1 Corinthians 10:13.
